Irfan-ul-Quran Course

‘Ruju’ ila al-Quran’ or Recourse to the Holy Quran is one of fundamentals of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Keeping this objective in view, our scholars have designed courses as per contemporary needs. Most important of them is Irfan-ul-Quran course.

Irfan-ul-Quran course is a unique course consisting of 63 lecturers through which students are taught Qira’at, Tajwid, literal and idiomatic translation, Tafsir (Exegesis of the Quran), Arabic grammar, Hadith and ‘Masnoon’ invocations. This course enables the students to translate and understand the Holy Quran without the help of a teacher.

Basic Level consists:

  • Recitation and Elocution
    Introduction to Elocution, Alphabets and Letters and an Account on Articulation Points, an Account on Alif and Hamzah, Prolonged Word (lengthening Letters), Forms of Prolonged Letters, Leen Letters, an Account on Throatal Letters, An Account on Obviousness, Concealment and Merging of the Letters, Kinds of Insertion, Learning and Practice of the rules regarding Echo and Nunation of the words and an Account on Tafkheem of the Letters.
  • Textual and Idiomatic Translation
    Sura al-Fatiha, Sura al-Baqara (verse 1–38)
  • Grammar Rules
    Terminologies, Parts of Speech, Symbols of Noun, Symbols of Verb, Jussive Letters, Demonstrative Noun and its kinds, An Account on Attached and Detached Pronouns, An Account on Words of Interrogation, Verb and its Kinds, Symbols of Letter, An Account on Perfect Verb, An Account on Passive Verbs, Categories of Verb, An Account on Imperfect Verb and Detail of Relative Noun.
  • Exegisis of Selective Verses
  • Daily Supplications
    Supplications before and after meal, Salutations when Dining at Someone’s House, Supplications while Entering and Leaving the Home, Supplications while Entering and Leaving the Mosque, Supplication before Drinking Milk, Supplication when looking in the Mirror, Supplications before going to bed and after waking up, Supplication while wearing new clothes, Supplication after Sneezing, Supplications at Supererogatory I‘tikaf, Supplications for entering and leaving toilet, Supplications before, during and after Ablution

  • Prophetic Hadiths
    20 Prophetic Sayings, Faith, Islam and Benevolence, Good Deeds, Worship and Remembrance, Righteousness, Self-purity, Repentance and Love of Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him)
